The photo on the right shows a cooler from an 18 month old PC that kept crashing. The heat sink was so clogged with dust that the fan was only 15% effective. Naturally the processor had been running hot for some time, in this case, replacing the cooler unit saved the PC. How did it get into such a state?   PCs are natural Hoovers that never get emptied.
